Lisa Shoalmire heading the division. Lisa honed her skills
in appellate advocacy as a clerk with the Sixth Court of
Appeals and has used that experience to provide superior
service to our clients. Lisa has handled appeals in the Fifth
and Eighth federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, the Texas Sixth
District Court of Appeals, and the Arkansas Court of Appeals.
Lisa believes that early participation in a case greatly
increases the odds for success. Our appellate lawyers
assist trial attorneys in developing winning legal theories at
the outset of litigation and during trial, in addition to the
post-trial and appellate process. They frequently consult with
attorneys from other firms on preservation of error during
trial, motions for summary judgment, Daubert motions,
directed verdict motions, preparation of the jury charge,
motions for new trial, and other post-trial motions.
