Employment Law
Labor and employment matters involving allegations of
discrimination and failure to accommodate disabilities under
the Americans With Disabilities Act or complex cases
involving sexual harassment require thorough knowledge of
the relevant statutes and the ability to apply them in the
courtroom.  Additionally, with the proper planning, many
employment disputes can be avoided.  Further, our attorney’s
knowledge of business and tax law has proven very helpful in
employee benefit litigation.  Examples of matters we have
handled are:

Design and implementation of employee handbooks
that optimize benefits to the employer.

Representation of employers in investigations
conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and the Texas Commission on Human
Rights.  In addition, we have represented a wide array
of employers in state and federal courts in sexual
harassment cases, family and medical leave cases,
disability cases, sex, age and race discrimination
cases, and wrongful discharge cases.

Benefit consulting and litigation under the Employee
Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
